I initially purchased the twenty dollar Homedics model from Bed Bath & Beyond because my pregnant wife has increasingly started snoring louder due to her pregnancy. But the Homedics model had some kind of short in it and would occasionally blare static abruptly and without warning. So I tried out the Graco Sweet Slumber. Yes, it's a big plastic egg with 7 buttons, but it's more than functional in it's simplicity. One user said that the plug comes out of the front, but it actually comes out of the back side (below the 5 buttons). The front of the machine has two buttons (power and 60-minute timer). The unit CAN run on 4 AA batteries if you need it to, which is a nice feature. Anyway, I also see how some may not like the unit because it's not loud enough. In a home that has a lot of noise outside, it would likely not be loud enough. But I just need to drown out my wife. I put the unit on the floor on my side of the bed, and at the second from the highest level, the unit was enough for me to sleep peacefully as my wife snored peacefully. So I think that I'm going to keep this one in our room for a while... In fact, I may have to buy a new one for our baby when she comes in April.

This product is so great,it even has a "womb sounds"setting which calms newborns and helps them rest.all the other sounds are great too,and will aide in sleeping at any age!

After leaving my expensive Brookstone sound machine at a hotel, I needed to purchase a new one for my daughter's room. I was reluctant to buy this because quite frankly, how good could it be given that it was under $50? I'm glad I did because this is a great value! Not only is the sound quality decent, the night light gives off a perfect glow. My daughter loves it and turns it on by herself (she is 3). I definitely would recommend. It is a also a great purchase for the new mom who doesn't yet know she will desperately need this!

We loved this for our baby at first. But after three months the night light would turn on by itself. It only got worse. Now once the nightlight turns on by itself, it can only be turned off by unplugging the power cord. Then the volume won't work. Very disappointed.

I purchased this sound machine for my daughter, who recently started waking up during the night at around 10 mos old. This sound machine has great quality, with alot of sound options that sound good. I do think it is helping my daughter sleep more soundly, though she is still waking up. I actually am enjoying it as well, as I can hear it on the baby monitor. We use the womb sound, the ocean, birds/nature and the music the most. It is very compact, and for me it has great range of volume...it plays quite loud on the highest setting, at least it sounds loud to me! Battery life is good too...we use rechargables...last about a week with the machine on all night every night. My daughter seems to enjoy it too, when i turn it on the music setting, she smiles & claps. I thought it was an overall great product/purchase and at this price it was 100% worth it!

The scale we received was defective. Our heart sank when we put our baby on it--supposedly he had lost 3 of 11 pounds! Then I compared weighing a gallon of water and it was not only several pounds off, but it had a different reading every time I put the water on it (in the exact same place). The batteries shipped with the scale were dented so I also tried it with brand new batteries. Though a minor inconvenience, the display shows pounds with a decimal fraction or (optionally) total ounces, but not the typical measurement of pounds and ounces together. I'm not sure how this product is related to "Graco" because I couldn't find anything indicating it was made or sold by Graco. Too bad--it looked like a good deal at the time.

My use of the scale was for my otterhound puppies - it worked well but I think we were challenging it as we had some very tiny puppies at the begining - it is working better now. My only complaint is that the slightest movement of a puppy seems to make it start all over again with the weight measurement. I tend to weigh 3 times and take the average.

This baby scale works very good for puppies. This digital scale is more accurate enabling a true weight for the puppies.

This scale is light, easy to store, and simple to use. The shape of it makes it good for infants who lie down as well as older ones who can sit. Gives quite variable weights even if used for the same weight three times in a row. If you are really concerned about your child;s weight gain would recommend buying a more expensive professional medical scale. If you are simply keeping a rough tally of weight gain then quite okay.

We use this scale for our pet rabbits and it works very well for this. It works fine, is simple to use, and the price was right.

I bought this item so that I could have a changing table and place to put my little one to keep him near. I wish the changing table weight was more than 20lbs. Its perfect in my living room and is very easy to use. Was kinda hard to set up being 36 weeks pregnant but other than that I love this pack and play and will keep it for future children

Our ten month old has been using this for two months now, and he loves it. It's very sturdy, as he flings himself around while he's inside it, and he presses up against the sides often. He loves it, and we love it too - it gives us a safe place to put him, and we can then do the things we need to do. We haven't gone traveling with it yet, but if it's like other pack 'n plays, that shouldn't be a problem.

Great Product and met all expectations. This is actually a gift to our friend, and they really loved it.

When we received this item there was a manufacturing flaw. Amazon immediately provided prepaid shipping and shipped a new product the next day. Excellent service.

Product as described. I bought this monitor to observe my 81 yr old Mother on Hospice. In just one day, this monitor brought me so much peace of mind allowing her to have some time alone, and I was able to be in another room or out in the yard for more time than I have been in a long time. It was such a relief to just look at the monitor and see if she was awake or getting out of bed and instantly hear her call for me because her voice is so weak. I can turn the visual off and give her her privacy yet hear her when she called me. A really great option. I can go into another room or go outside and continue to view and hear her. Since she is in the stage where she can't remember to push her Lifelink button anymore, this was the perfect answer, it is voice activated! If she falls, I can hear or see her immediatly, yet she has the feeling of freedom to do what she can still do around the house and I can see if she goes outside and is at a risk for falling. I only wish I would have thought about this 3 years ago when my Father was in Hospice and unable to walk, confined to bed, yet would attempt to get up all night when he didn't know what he was doing. I can now sleep in my room and feel more at ease! You should really market this item to caregivers, it is wonderful. Thank you for helping me keep my Mother safe! Daughter, Marianne

I was searching for a good video baby monitor for weeks. I had an audio-only baby monitor, but it's a pity I could not see the condition of my son, e.g. his sleeping position, whether the blanket is in place, etc. Unfortunately, most video baby monitors are either analog (interference) or without the talk-back feature. My old audio-only monitor is analog and it has quite a bit of interference, but it has a good feature: two-way radio for talking back to the child -- a feature that I feel very important. This 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Baby Monitor System with Night Vision meets all my expectations, at a very affordable price comparatively. It works immediately out-of-the-box, no interference, clear audio and video, good night vision, and I can talk back to my son. The voice activated alarm and video works pretty well. Only one small complaint: it wakes up from sleep mode and turns on the video/audio for only a brief moment (like 5 seconds) which is too short, it would have been better if the duration is like 30 seconds or configurable; but it's not a big deal - I can always turn off the sleep mode immediately with a touch of a button. I highly recommend this baby monitor.

Never had consistent readings and there was a sharp blemish in the plastic. I need to contact the manufacturer.

This thermometer registard a temp of 96.5 on my child when they were burning up, I used my other thermometer under the arm that takes several minutes and my child had a temp of 103.6. I have tried this several times and still this one reads much lower. I have read, read and read the instructions and follow to a T and still the same results. Spend more money and get a more reliable one.

My Grand daughter was very happy with this toy she is 6 years old. Her mom is going to have a baby soon so she is excited to walk her doll when her mom walks her baby sister. Not real sturdy so if a kid sits in it that will be the end of the toy.

I bought this for my 19-month old. She really enjoys it but I think it is way over-priced. It's nice that you can covert the pieces but for the most part, she only really uses the stroller and swing. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for this.
