I really like this for my 18 month old because he is old enough to eat relatively "neatly" when sitting at the table with us. I wouldn't recommend it for children who are much younger and still play with their food a lot and like to mush it on everything--a chair with a washable try is much better for that. It can be a little tippy if he stands on the bottom rung in the front, but since we have a smooth wood floor in our dining room I haven't had any trouble with it tipping over backwards when he pushes away from the table. The harness works very well at keeping my squirmy child in his seat. I like that it is so adjustable (with respect to seat height and depth), that it has an adjustable foot rest, and that he'll be able to sit comfortably at the table until he's tall enough for a standard chair. Quality is very good and it was easy to put together.

My daughter pushed herself backward from the table and fell backward on our stone kitchen floor. The chair came with these plastic pieces that screw into the two back bases to help prevent from tipping back, but they failed to prevent the accident. After debating a cat scan at the emergency room, I am now back home and online looking to buy the tray that goes with this. Looks like I'll be spending an additional 90 dollars now. Thank God my daughter is ok, as well as I can tell anyway.

We bought this chair a little under a year ago. Our 22mo daughter tipped over backwards in it and her head went slamming to the hard tile floor which landed us in the ER. I'm at a loss as to a better option since this chair came so highly rated, but we will not be using it anymore. My daughter is very petite, only 20lbs and still managed to do it. We were both seated at the table with her and couldn't grab her in time because it happened so fast. I'm horrified to think what could have happened to her fragile little skull and brain. Just Google "tripp trapp tipping" and see the YouTube video of the infant tipping. The same thing could happen in any of the belt-on toddler boosters that strap to a regular dining chair. Hoping this review will prevent at least a few more tippings. It was very scary.

This chair calls to the yuppie crowd, and I understand. Not long after our daughter was born, we had our fill of the plastic-Pooh-jungle decor. My wife bought this chair, and after seeing the price, I expected to loathe it. However, the chair looks better than I expected. It is smaller than I thought it would be, pulling up to the table in no more space than one of our other chairs. While the construction is not furniture quality (some easy assembly required), the nuts and bolts are well designed. Specifically, the bolts can be tightened and loosened without fear that the chair will weaken with each turn of the included allen wrench tool. As an aside, Stokke kept shipping material to a bare minimum, and yet the parts arrived unblemished. What I don't like about this chic baby feeder are the straps to hold the baby in the chair. They are somewhat difficult to adjust, and they are even more difficult to use with the baby set accessory. As elegant as the rest of this chair is, the straps look completely out of place. Like some dude just shot a single screw through a bunch of nylon straps and called it good. Also, the baby set is cheap looking and cheap feeling, but not cheap. It is made out of hard plastic that doesn't look comfortable, but a comfortable cushion is available separately for another $40. The predatory price of the chair and its "accessories" makes me chafe. Having to buy a separate "baby set" is simply a function of greed. It is like buying a car and forking over an extra $70 for a steering wheel. For what kind of highchair must one purchase an "optional" accessory to accomodate a baby? Was that not the point in buying the highchair in the first place? Overall it's ok, but not worth it.

I love this chair personally.. sturdy, environment friendly, good looking and very functional.. however my 7 month old doesn't like it at all.. she refuses to sit on the chair for any length of time.. I would have given the chair 5 stars if she liked it too.. hopefully she'll use it as she grows up.. I also wish the chair had an option to use with an attached tray..

Little Partners Learning Tower Little Partners Learning Tower

Reviews

My husband and I just put this together for our 19 month old son who is forever wanting to see what is happening above his eye-level in the kitchen. We are both impressed with the sturdy construction and ease of assembly. Prior to buying, I also researched the Kitchen Helper as I did have concerns about the Learning Tower's size and portability based on other reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Learning Tower is actually very reasonably sized for something that can accomodate 2 children and up to 500 lbs. We have what I would describe as a medium sized kitchen with a large center island with countertops/cabinets on both sides of the island. Pushed up to the island or other countertops, there is plenty of room for an adult to manuever around the tower. I do agree that is not easy to pick the tower up and move it around. However, we have wood floors in the kitchen and play room and adding linear felt protector strips to the feet of the tower allows us to just push it around the house. We also bought the art easel attachment (which we have already added to the tower) and the playhouse kit to go with it. Again, I'm very impressed with the versatility of the art easel (dry erase board on one side and chalk board on the other) and how easily it mounts to the tower. I also like that the easel comes with a wall mount that allows you to hang the it independently of the tower either for storage or for use. We haven't received the playhouse kit, yet, so I'm unable to provide feedback about that item. Overall, the tower is well-designed, appears sturdy and safe, and its multifunctionality can't be beat by other similar products. We anticipate getting a lot of use out of it for several years.

I bought this only a couple of months ago, and although it's proven to be a life saver as far as it keeps my daughter safely entertained while I make dinner, it also has quickly shown it's flaws. First, she "washes the dishes" a lot while standing in the Tower, and it's already showing water damage even though it's not getting all that wet. The wood is splitting and drying out. I got the Natural one, and it does have a finish to it, but it's not enough I guess. I feel it's way too soon to show damage. Second, the spaces on the long sides are unnecessary and a little misleading. My 2 year old daughter isn't always aware that there's an opening on the side and sometimes, while sitting, appears as though she might lean back into the non-existent 'wall' there...and fall out! (The bar above gives a sense that's it's an entire wall.) Third, the feet on the base stick out pretty far and I stub my toes on them ALL OF THE TIME! I also wish it went one click taller, for the little ones. All in all it's been a great thing to have, but that's also because there is nothing else out there like it. It's much safer than the little kiddos just standing on a chair, but not the best (see above). It is sturdy though. Also, the company's return policy isn't that great (re-stocking fee, etc.), so call them beforehand for details, and be sure you want it!

The LP Learning Tower does allow our 2yr old to work at the counter level as we desired. Our son likes being able to help during meal time. However, the tower is very heavy (has cracked one of our kitchen floor tiles) and we have stubbed our toes countless times on the 4 very large side floor mounts that keep the tower stable(NOT shown in the photo).

I have wanted one of these since my oldest son was little(he's 9 years old now!). Either we didn't have the money, didn't have a kitchen, or didn't have a BIG enough kitchen to get one. We have a little one now and have a new home with a big open kitchen, so I figured why not? They sell for practically full price used, so if we didn't like it we could resell it with little loss. We just got ours 2 days ago. We won't be selling it anytime soon. We love it! Instead of just watching us in the kitchen sitting on the counter, our 2yo actually can help out. He has rinsed off dishes, made PB & J, sprinkled cheese on bread, stirred juice, beat eggs, and sorted frozen fruit. Then we took the platform out & put the included star cloth cover on top of the tower. He & his brother played for literally hours in it like that. Sure, it's pricey. It's super heavy & well made. And it grows with your child. And you can sell it for half to 3/4 what you paid new. It takes up about as much space as a regular sized table chair, so it isn't super duper huge but it is big & heavy. We put cloth sliders under ours to save our wood floors & make it easier to move. Parts are great! They give you an extra set of allens & extra screws & washers. Instructions are easy to read & follow. Based on other reviewers, we left off the side fins on the base of the feet. It comes with a really cool blue cloth with stars printed on it for extended play. My boys really like that part:)

I was reluctant to but the learning tower because of the price. However, the reviews I read here and elsewhere convinced me to go ahead and get it. I have not been disappointed. It is well made, sturdy and makes time in the kitchen so more more fun for both me and my child.

Very cute and well made. I mainly purchased this for decorative purposes, and it does look adorable in my child's room. I probably wouldn't buy it just as another toy to have kicking around since there are more useful chairs and more eduactional toys to be had. I do quite like its funky aesthetic though. If I were looking for a toddler chair, I'd be disappointed in both the size and functionality of this one. Take a pass unless you just want something cute looking. $$$ Tip: Do a google shopping search, and you'll find another online retailer selling this item for $35 with free shipping too.

...more like 3 big foam-covered blocks, one of which my toddler can sit on (without any back support). Cute if you have room for big funky toys, if you're short on space and looking for an actual toddler chair I'd skip this one. My toddler throws the pieces around on occasion. The actual construction seems pretty sturdy.

My daughter LOVES this seat. It is her seat, her table, her playing and jumping device, her pillow... what a nice invention!

I recently gave the red one to my 23 month old grandson. I wasn't real sure if he would use it. I have seen him use the top part as a bench to play his Fisher-Price piano. He used the curved bottom part to prop himself while watching Thomas. The little mouth part has been used to throw at the dogs, which isn't great, but at least it is soft and light!

The chair is loved by our two year old grandson. He loves to take the head off and carry it around the house. I thought it was smaller than other reviewers perception. I thought it was worth about $15.00 but I paid $34.00. It was a lightning deal.

We discovered this cd after a sales lady at the children's bookstore in Los Angeles told us that it was the best cd for children's music she'd heard and the other staff members agreed with her. We came home and played it during my one year old's meal times when we were trying to create a meal routine, and it worked wonderfully. When he heard the songs he knew it was time to eat, but the best thing about the cd is that the songs are incredibly clever and very catchy. My sister finds herself singing 'Mama Comes Back' randomly. It was a great find for stressed out parents looking for a change of pace from toys and videos.

I was looking for something for a wood high chair that was made for me, but it didn't have any safety straps. My 6 month son kept slipping down in the seat because there wasn't any kind of cover on the seat either. This strap seems like it would work fine but I didn't keep it because it seemed like there should be something easier that would do the trick. This didn't come with any hardware, which I don't think it claims to. I was just thinking it did. It also arrived smelling a little like cigarette smoke which I wasn't real excited about. Otherwise, seems like it would work great though. I returned it and got the portable toddler seat belt from Lear Enterprises and it has worked much better for me!

The high chair safety strap is exactly what I have been looking for. Great price and free shipping. Excellant product at an excellant price

Not too much to say, but I LOVE IT!! Its great, doesnt hurt y baby and helps him breath easier!!! I definetly recommend it!

I ordered this just because it was coming from the same supplier that the suction thingy was from. The suction thing is okay, but these tweezers are used all the time. It does get those hard buggies out, and usually ends up dragging out a long gooey one with it! I know, I know TMI The only thing that could improve is the width. There's no hinge or anything so the tweezers are set at about 1/4" apart, sometimes there is need for it to be wider so I have to use my pinky to spread them apart, slightly awkward especially holding a baby.

My daughter is 6-months old and nearly from the beginning she wakes up with very large dried boogers in her nose. Her nose is too small for traditional removal methods (fingers) and regular tweezers are too dangerous. The boogers will just stay in her nose for days without assistance. This is a great product, perfect for baby noses. It's easy to use, safe and it quickly does the job minimizing the need for baby to stay still.

The best product! i feel safe that my baby will not be harmed when i use this. it is easy and safe to use , especially when they have a cold, stuffy nose.

these are adorable! I love the little animals... I also bought them for my daughter so I could link them onto her play gym, they are too fat for the holes in the playgym, but i use them for other things and they work out just fine. They are thick and durable. The ones without the animals will hold other toys. I used to use these to clip toys onto my son's stroller so he wouldn't lose them when we went out, but I lost them btwn kidsso I needed another set for my daughter. They are alot thicker then the ones I used to have so I am hoping that they work just as well. But these are much cuter =)
